TODAY IS MY OLDEST GRANDCHILD’S BIRTHDAY
He’s eleven years old today. How in the world did that happen?

It seems like just yesterday that I got the call from my son to tell me my first grandchild was on the way. And what an amazing kid he is.
He is funny, super intelligent and a master inventor. He once made a working garbage truck from recycled materials.
He loves science and math and plans to own his own business, or two…and retire at the ripe old age of 18 (gotta love the dream).
He is a planner. If asked about his business ideas, he will promptly produce a business notebook, complete with a plan, a list of needed materials to get started, and a budget.
He’s not afraid to try new things…just to see if he will like it. The exception to that is FOOD. Such a picky eater!
He has a wealth of knowledge about all things and doesn’t mind sharing them with you, even if you haven’t asked.
He is a great big brother to his sister and the coolest big cousin to my three other grandkids.
He has a heart for Jesus and loves attending church.
He has a million dollar smile that can melt your heart and empty your wallet if you’re not careful.
And, most of all, he gave us the gift of becoming grandparents. What an amazing blessing it has been!
